Quality and environmental policy
The Management of Eptisa Tecnologías de la Información, S.A. (Eptisa TI), aware of the importance of satisfying
its clients' needs and expectations and itself respectful of the environment,
not only for the company but also for society, uses all the resources necessary
to:
- Achieve appropriate levels of quality for the activities
it carries out and services it provides
- Prevent and limit environmental impacts related with the
company's activities
For this purpose, Eptisa
TI takes into account the requirements of its clients, the authorities,
society, the companies with which it collaborates, and its own employees.
Eptisa TI has implemented an Integrated Quality and
Environmental Management System, based on the requirements established by
standards UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2000 and UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2004, characterized by a
Quality and Environment Policy based on the following principles:
- Quality and Environmental Management are strategic
elements of the company
- Providing a quality service is the result of an
organization of quality
- A focus on Continuous Improvement based on technification
and better relationships and contact with clients is considered fundamental
- In all the company's activities, a focus on continuous improvement
based on technification and contact with clients and pollution prevention
should be maintained
- Compliance, firstly, with current technical and
environmental legislation affecting the quality of the products we supply and
which we offer our clients and with the goals and objectives to which we
subscribe and, secondly, with all the requirements to which Eptisa TI subscribes
- Informing all our employees and any interested party who
so requires of the commitments we have undertaken towards the environment
- In
addition, this Quality and Environmental Policy constitutes the framework for
the establishment and review of Goals and Objectives and is aimed at reaching
these aims and objectives:
- The results of activities carried out shall have the
quality required by applicable specifications, standards and regulations, and
the corresponding documentary evidence of this shall be kept
- Actions to guarantee this quality by documentation,
coordination, supervision, control and verification of the correct execution of
works shall be established and carried out
- Energy savings
- Use of recycled and recyclable materials
- Recycling of materials
- Rational use of natural resources
- Establishment and performance of actions to ensure
fulfilment of objectives set, by documentation, coordination, supervision,
control and verification of the correct execution of activities
- Continuous improvement of environmental actions
The General Director and, on his behalf, the
Assistant Director, being aware of the commitments undertaken, accepts
responsibility for revising them and keeping the up to date, this being
endorsed by approval of this policy.
At Management Review Meetings, firstly, specific,
quantifiable quality objectives and, secondly, the Environmental Management
Programme for the coming year are established. In addition, in the course of
the year, tracking activities to verify that these are complied with or, if
necessary, redefine them are carried out.
Eptisa TI has the necessary material and human resources to
comply with its Quality and Environmental Policy.
The necessary mechanisms have been established so
that the organization's personnel, our current and potential clients, and
institutions and authorities can learn and understand our Quality and
Environmental Policy.
